Reserv is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Data to build and own the data platform that powers analytics, data science, and BI. You’ll develop foundational systems from ingestion and orchestration to reliable delivery, enabling teams to do their best work.

What you’ll do

• Design and build robust data infrastructure and pipelines using Python, DBT, AWS (S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift/Athena, ECS), Airflow or similar, Postgres
• Own platform architecture and enable downstream analytics and operational systems
• Build scalable ETL/ELT from diverse sources for downstream consumption
• Implement data quality frameworks, monitoring, and alerting
• Create efficient storage layers that speed DBT model development
• Design data APIs and interfaces for programmatic access
• Support ML training, deployment, and serving with data scientists
• Partner on event schemas, data contracts, and instrumentation
• Build self‑service tools for analytics engineers and data scientists
• Optimize pipeline performance, storage cost, and query efficiency
• Establish data governance, lineage, and documentation standards
• Build customer‑facing data products and exports
• Mentor engineers and establish best practices as the team scales
