Who you are

• Highly motivated and growth-oriented. You're always looking to learn, hone your craft, and take on new challenges.
• Demonstrated fluency with modern technologies. You have strong back-end experience in any high-level language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Node.js) and are comfortable working with (or learning) TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Next.js, React, or GraphQL to deliver end-to-end features.
• Experienced with communicating and collaborating across functions to proactively drive solutions.
• Eager to learn about the insurance claims industry and positively impact the people involved.

What we need

We need you to do all the things typical to the role:

• Work with our tech stack: Ruby/Ruby on Rails, React, Typescript, and others when needed
• Help distill the core interactions a customer of Reserv will need to be successful in using our product, from the homepage, to the developer dashboard, to documentation centers and SDKs
• Ship frontend and backend components that improve the Reserv product experience
• Commit on your first day, and deploy code continuously
• As we scale our product & engineering teams, collaborate closely with our product ops, design, and sales teams, as well as mentor junior engineers
• Communicate ideas and specifications through detailed, precise writing
