Tenkara is building an operating system for process manufacturers, starting with AI agents that run procurement, logistics, and demand planning.
American manufacturing has never had a greater opportunity to reclaim global competitiveness, but operations teams are underwater—drowning in manual coordination work. Suppliers are managed over email. Freight is tracked through phone calls. Compliance lives in scattered spreadsheets. Mid-market manufacturers can’t scale operations without scaling headcount proportionally.
Tenkara deploys AI agents that execute these workflows autonomously, bringing cutting-edge AI into the economy’s most critical sectors. These agents enable businesses to make smarter decisions and move faster, with less friction.
The team is focused on building the absolute best product, bar nothing. They move fast and learn by shipping. Ideas win on merit. Ownership is taken seriously. The trajectory is steep for those who prove themselves. What’s being built matters: helping American manufacturers compete globally.
Tenkara is backed by top supply chain and enterprise software investors and is live with manufacturers processing real transactions today. The company was founded by a serial entrepreneur who built and ran manufacturing plants from the ground up.
This role owns the end-to-end user experience for how manufacturers source materials, manage orders, and work with suppliers. The engineer in this position will shape how the product works and feels, translating complex supply chain operations into interfaces that feel simple and intuitive. Manufacturing software has been stuck in the past—this role helps define what pushing it forward finally looks like.
